Pablo & Rusty's Coffee Roasters

Australia's First Carbon Neutral Coffee

How can a carbon-intensive business like a coffee roaster become carbon neutral?

Brief

As a purpose-led coffee roaster, Pablo & Rusty's wants to be sustainability leaders in the coffee sector and we want to go carbon neutral. How do we do this?

Solution

By establishing relevant boundaries and setting up the right reporting functions, we helped Pablo and Rusty's become the first Australian coffee roasters to be Climate Active certified carbon neutral.

Sustainability is an ongoing journey and measuring our outputs is a vital part of our story. We create waste and produce emissions and whilst we work hard to reduce, remove and repurpose our waste, there is a point where smart offsetting does play a part. Working closely with Cool Planet ensures transparency and accountability.
