Coolplanet currently comprises of three people: Daniel Harper, Colin George and Teifi Caron.
Daniel Harper
Daniel is the founder of Coolplanet and focuses on all areas of the business including: business and residential energy assessments, carbon footprint reporting and offsetting, sustainable communites, education and training. Daniel grew up in the Byron area and is passionate about the environment.
Colin George
Colin George has worked toward sustainable environmental management for the over twenty years. He has recently been researching and promoting electric motor efficiency and power reduction equipment. Colin is also a Home Sustainability Assessor and Trainer. Colin works mainly on the East Coast from Sydney to Brisbane, he has five children and lives in Byron shire.
Teifi Caron
Since completing his Bachelor of Science 'Environment and Resource Management' degree in 2005, Teifi has worked in public, private and voluntary areas on energy efficiency, carbon footprint analysis, greenhouse gas mitigation and biological conservation projects. He is currently studying his Masters of Climate Change at the Australian National University, Canberra which will give Teifi an economic and policy perspective for climate change problems and solutions. Teifi believes that global change can be managed if we undertake large scale reform of our energy systems, introduce a suitable pricing mechanism on carbon and environmental services, reach an effective international agreement and implement strategies that are both top-down and bottom-up.
